If Neocon were successful in stipulating in the law that a cell cluster was a human being,
it is clear he would have been successful in perpetrating a purely religious percept, the
"sacredness" of those cells, into the law.

Hmmm. So the idea that a cell cluster deserves legal protection is purely a religious precept, eh? So there cannot be any person who is not religious but still opposes abortion? That's a pretty sweeping charge.

You, by the way, are simply a cell cluster. Do you believe that it is okay for me to kill you? (I don't, in case you wondered -- you're too much fun to have around, and Beltane 2000 is coming!) At one time the cell clusters known as Native Americans were fair game for killing -- "the only good indian ..." Religious groups tended to be in the forefront of the opposition to this practice. Was it wrong of them to defend the rights of those cell clusters? Should they have kept out of the debate because their value systems were tainted by religion, and they were imposing their values on those who enjoyed going out and shooting injuns?
