COVD - I have a feeling you are correct as exemplified by the run up in GSPN today after LU's announcement. ADSL is the way to go and COVD's plan to double their ADSL coverage will give them access to 40% of homes and 50% of businesses in the US.

I like the idea of "Burstable" ADSL since I have realized some savings having "upgraded" to it. My monthly ISP charge went from $35 on a 384K connection to $17.45 on a 768K download/128K upload connection and my Telco cost also went down considerably. It's here to stay, IMO... with or without LU/ASND innovations.

PS: BTW whoever gets the customers first gets them for at least a year, at least that's what my contract says... COVD is there first, it's the leader... the rest gets to fight over the leftovers.

The BATMAN has spoken....."I believe that the U.S. economy and financial markets will withstand the current round of rate increases as they have in years past, and that corporate profits will expand 15 percent year over year, and in turn propel equity prices higher," said Joseph V. Battipaglia, chief investment strategist at Gruntal & Co.
