Thanks, G. I'm a long, proud to be holding my IPO shares, and plan to continue holding 'em for a long time. I never saw RedHat as a trading stock, but a 'buy and hold' stock. Everybody has an opinion and is free to express it on here, but I'm amused at the number of shorts that came out of nowhere today. I'm amused to read about how RedHat is a junky stock, while they're constantly strengthening their alliances with the major players of the computer industry. I'm amused to read posts declaring that RedHat doesn't own Linux, like there's a soul here reading these messages that hasn't known that for months or years. In short (pun intended), I'm amused to the point of LOL!

RHAT Challenge!

>I would wager that he is the guy who has made tons of money shorting those stocks. Hasn't everyone? Isn't everyone on SI a trading God?<

That's the truth! And it's always after the day's close. (For example: "Bought 10,000 RHAT today at 83 3/8, and sold at 109 7/8 - right at the day's highs and lows!")

Remarkable how certain short "traders" on SI never get caught in a bad trade; they always cover before the run-up (and we always read about it after the fact).

Here's a challenge for the shorts on this board (as well as the longs, for that matter): post your current positions (size and price), or your targets (we'll assume you were filled if/when it gets there, unless otherwise posted).

Let's see who the real gurus are! Put up, or shut up!

regards,

JS
