Hearst played one more down than Byron Hanspard and Bob Christian (that's 2/3 of our backfield), so I don't want to hear about luck. The 49ers have really been embarrassing themselves the past few weeks, by showing their desperation. What happened to the old poker face? Picking up that scrub Lawrence Phillips, cutting Merton Hanks in favor of Craig Newsome, pleading with Tampa for a defensive end . . . truly sad. I think the Falcons are better than the Niners at all 22 positions. Every single one. they begin against, minni, and already are dogs at home.
