Interesting company I noticed and studied over the Labor Day Weekend. San Diego-based TeraGlobal Communications Corp. (OTC BB: TGCC) They have applied for NASDAQ Listing a few months ago. Trading now at 13 1/2 a share. Have a network of strategic alliances with Apple, Motorola, Fore, Ingram Micro, and Sprint. As some of you may know, Apple just came out with the new Power Mac G4. TGCC uses a new technology to create enterprise value by converging media--voice, video and data--in an interactive global service, linking two persons or thousands. It operates in real time--across secure, private, all-ATM networks. Sounds like the type of company this tread would be interested in. Their technology links work stations with a combination of digital video cameras, microphones and G4-based Macs. The technology depends on use of the PowerPC G4 processor and its Velocity Engine vector-processing unit. It does not work with a Apple G3 (eariler model) or a Pentium III, because such do not have enough register space, and without the Velocity Engine there is not enough bandwidth. The Motion Picture Industry is showing great interest in their technology from my review of news on TGCC. Filming on one side of the world by a producer can be real time looked out by the company in Southern Calf. Saves on production costs and time. The company website is informative and is located at: teraglobal.com There is a SI site and a Ragging Bull site. Their ok. The company's motto is "Others network computers, we network people". Sorry to sound like an ad, but potential appears great with this company. The negative I see is their technology does not yet operate on a pc only based network although the G4 can run Windows N/T, etc. I assume they will go after pc market once the tech. of Intel, etc. catches up to that of the new G4. Also, they still have BB status. They do look to have adequate financing in place. Marketing appears to be the key to their doing well big time. Full Disclosure: I have nothing to do with company and own no shares but plan to buy a few tomorrow. Maybe I should say all this after I purchase some shares. Anyway, for the benefit of some of you on this good thread, I thought this company may be of interest. If any of you can shoot this company down then maybe I won't buy the stock. Feedback of any reasonable kind would be appreciated. BOB
