b & x, there are several LAMR signs near Chattanooga, all that I noticed were in use but not by "big name" advertisers. My guess is that the loss of the tobacco ads is beginning to have an effect.

x, the God billboards are a mystery. they are all over memphis, and several in ms. on the highway leading to the casinos. they had an article in the memphis paper a few months ago... no one knows who is paying, or for how long they'll be up. my favorite... "Stop using my name in vain, or I'll make rush hour longer. God" interesting you saw them in knoxville... thought it was a local thing.
