To thread:

I've read posts about some kind of fancy browser to optimize the performance of SI. Can anyone tell me about it-- where to get it, what are its features, etc.? Help!! This standard SI browser is out of the stone age. The old one was much better and it sucked! I love the content, but this thing moves like Prodigy! MLJ

BTW... Yes, I did post to the "petition to bring back the old SI" thread.

"I use E*Trade on some orders and yes they have very bad executions, but do not charge commission on bonds and strips above 20."

Yep, you get what you pay for over at E*rape alright :)) I gladly pay more commission at Waterhouse for bond trading (even though equity commissions are less) because after the fill, Waterhouse is almost always cheaper. I have bought equities in both accounts SIMULTANEOUSLY with the same limit order and often the Etrade one won't even be filled and often the Waterhouse is filled BELOW the limit if buying and above if selling.
