I agree that $ amounts is most important,
but when you talk about going over or under
a strike, (@ expiration)
i think Gross number of contracts comes in to play,,,,
BUT! by the same token,,,,
if they wait for the day before options expiration
to sprint,
they would probably just buy stock to cover,
and not worry about buying back energized contracts,
and this can make last day (opt exp) moves very explosive...
at times,,,
i just think this options stuff needs to be thrown in their face,,
constantly and exposed for the game that it is...<<gg>>
Last month,,there was nearly 200 million in option open (infection)interest
dollars...(3-4 weeks before expiration) that's a lot of dinero!
