A few thoughts on PVTL. . .This recent IPO has never dropped back from its highs as most do. . .currently selling just 2 points off the all time high, reached just 4 days ago. . .the 18th and 19th saw huge spikes. . .and consolidation since.

I found your concern, interesting. . "if this is off-topic now, say why so." The only thing I can figure out that you mean, is that this is a Vancouver stock. And since Vancouver has the reputation of the biggest stock scam capital of them all, we would have trouble with it. My general rule is that when a larger cap stock hails from such a location, we need to be more careful in our DD. . .Boca, La Jolla, Denver, NYC and Las Vegas are other such examples.

Since this stock has left the quiet period, not much has happened. . . the most recent 5-day is fairly negative.

So the question that is most obvious is "why do we buy"? Can you think of reasons that we should own this company? Or why it should see substantial gains from where it sits, near its all-time high? I'd love to hear your opinions.

Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
