Happened to try it using both 0.5 and 1 pt boxes and I like the 1 point thus far...the 0.5 pt allows (apparently) for overtrading.

From my perspective the Cash leads the Futures over longer periods...but for fast intraday trades I think the spoo tends to lead the Cash. Of course, at any given point in time they can change places and so it helps to look at ancillary Indicators such as PREM to establish clues.
