John O'Bear,

With Intel trading around it's all-time high, I have been worried that too much bullishness was being exhibited by many. However, your posts, all by themselves, have convinced me not to worry. We are still climbing that wall of worry and there's a lot more to climb, I suspect. The degree of bearishness that you exhibit on this thread is astonishing to me. Do you feel neglected elsewhere?

By the way, if I wanted to hear the latest Fleckenspiel, I would go read his column myself. His version of events has been out of touch for so long that I'm amazed that anyone finds any value in reading it.

Why don't you take all your cash and go count it somewhere else? Are you on a crusade or what? Some might care, but most here, believe it or not, are still very bullish. You just don't see them posting the voluminous bilge that you seem to disgorge by the hour.

John:

re >>BTY Fleckenstein was in good form today...here's his post<<

What a piece of work this guy is. More amazing, as off-the-wall as Fleckenstein is he has the audacity to reference one of his heroes:

Recommended reading.... Regular readers know that in the past I've talked about what an absolutely spectacular technology analyst Fred Hickey is. He publishes the High Tech Strategist, and his most recent piece is probably one of the most important he has ever written. For those of you who don't know, Fred has been very right in anticipating problems in chip land and PC land for the last five years.

He was one of the first people to mention that there was way too much building going on in anticipation of Windows 95 back in 1995. He was also aware of the channel stuffing in late 1996 and 1997 and '98. He has been very accurate in terms of where problems might be in technology and just as importantly, where they might not be.

Fleckenstein must have been given a Hickey on the brain. Anyone listening to this guy would have avoided Dell, Intc and Msft since 1995. Talk about missing the forest for the trees. All three of these stocks are up enough in that time-frame to make even someone who is nearly as stupid as Fleckenstein rich.

Regards,

Greg

John,

Fleckenstein has less than 20 million left. There are people posting on this thread that have run more money than that before their second cup of coffee.

What a hero.

BTY Fleckenstein was in good form today

Best Trading,
X
