They are not too large to be bought. It could happen. I have just raised the possibility. Several years ago people thought IBM would take them out. Is IBM big enough to do it? Yes. Yes. Yes. If MSFT hadn't screwed up so badly with NSCP and SUNW and the anti-trust people, they might be able to do it. Nobody thought Mobil could be bought out by anyone, yet Exxon will acquire it.

Why the large volume? Why are we up almost 10 points from last weeks low? If they aren't a target, the stock has moved too far too fast. Maybe the shorts got squeezed. Where is the news? They are saying ORCL is going to beat estimates by 2 cents. Is that correct? Is that worth 9 or 10 points before being confirmed? CPWR beat earnings by 2 cents and went down 9 points.
