It seems like I can remember hearing about these benchmarks somewhre else but I can't figure out where. I would really love to get to the bottom of this. Anyone here actually attend IDF and see these benchmarks presented?

The benchmarks are obviously bogus. The PC100/Rambus results should be quite close, either way, on Office. They are not memory-intensive programs.

Luckily Dell gets all its tech from Intel, so it doesn't matter if their chief "engineer" is an idiot.
