Habibie wimps out! Indonesia is running for cover in Auckland. Xena Albright, Robin Cooke [Pommy Foreign Secretary who made a special trip out here nothing to do with APEC and a prime driver of sorting out Milosevic] and others are lining Indonesia up very smartly.

Tomorrow, there will be troops on the way I'd say [from Darwin]. Indonesia has been told to seek help from the UN and do it now. Otherwise they'll be considered to be showing complicity with the crimes.

We know what that means.

Xena Albright went for a wander down Queen Street surrounded by quite a few very heavy looking guys and some gals. It looks very incongruous on the streets of Auckland! But I do agree I wouldn't want some nut case attacking her or anyone else for that matter in my home town.

That's funny. He says he's reluctant to mention the bombing then goes on about it as the central point. Which of course it is.

That's perfectly normal. It's the old, "I don't mean any disrespect to John and really think highly of him, BUT John is <enter derogatory comments>"
