W, what is it with Mike Alstott? A guy in my draft has him as his #1 RB. I know he's their goal-line pounder but, just because he's their fullback doesn't mean the pts. off his TD's mean that much relative to the other RB's. My stat projections have these guys all having higher TTL rushing TD's: Anderson, Jamal Bettis, Jerome Davis, Terrell Enis, Curtis George, Eddie Hicks, Skip Levens, Dorsey Martin, Curtis Morris, Bam Murrell, Adrian Sanders, Barry Smith, Antowain Smith, Emmitt Taylor, Fred Watters, Ricky Williams, Ricky And the thing is, we're in a yardage and TD scoring system. We're 8 teams with head-to-head play starting 2QB's (I'm not the commiss <g>), 2RBs, 3WR, 1TE 1K and defense. How can someone take Alstott as the #1 back? AGGHH! What's funny is that like the guy who took him in your league, the guy in our league who has Alstott as his #1 RB also has Hoard. Weird. (and rounding out his backfield stable is Jerome Bettis, Duce Staley and Curtis Ennis). Your RB's are just flat-out incredible (my co-owner an I took T.Davis #2 overall). My breakdown has them 1, 4, 5, and 10 at the RB position. Unreal! IMHO, if it makes sense taking bye weeks into account, you wave Schroeder and go with either the Black and Silver or the Bucs. Pickens and Rob Moore just signed (we picked them both WEd. night when they were still holding out and were mocked at the time), so maybe lose a wide-out and pick one up on waivers? I like Moore better. Did anyone bite on Joey Galloway? I just hope Peyton Manning has a HUGE year! Everyone went nuts on QB's in our first 3 rounds and the best we could come up with at #15 was Manning (who I think is ready for a break-out year) and then McNair at #34 (not as consistent as I'd like to have at #2QB). Good luck, Tom
