Similarities Between the big one day fall in October 1987 and Today:


1. Bonds had peaked about a year before.

2. CRB Index reversed its downtrend a few months before.

3. The dollar peaked right before the big one day fall.

4. About a WEEK before the fall, there was a classic Dow Theory sell signal, when the Dow made a new high that wasn't confirmed by other major indexes.
