The difference is that Anthony doesn't pick 50-80 stocks PER WEEK and then crow about a few that work out. He only calls trades which he feels strongly about. They succeed at an extraordinarily high rate (unlike some of his competitors).

AMPD Promoters Associated With Fraud, Company's Claims of Wireless Internet
Access Questioned

TheTruthseeker.com Announces Investment Opinion on AMPLIDYNE INC
NEWTON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 10, 1999--

TheTruthseeker.com Initiates Coverage On AMPLIDYNE INC, with

Immediate Sell and Short Recommendation

Today On Sept 10, 1999 The Truthseeker.com initiated an immediate Sell and
Short Recommendation on AMPLIDYNE INC
(NASDAQ:AMPD) and issued the following to its members.

On September 9, 1999, a small New Jersey company, called Amplidyne, issued a
curious press release, describing its remarkable new wireless internet access
service. This press release, and the resulting explosion in the price of AMPD
shares, has prompted The Truthseeker to examine AMPD. Are investors really
buying into revolutionary technology when they buy shares of AMPD?

Amplidyne's Conflicting Claims

In AMPD's press release September 9, 1999, they claim:

"Using equipment in the license free 2.4 GHz band, Amplidyne is able to offer
subscribers internet access with speeds up to 2,000 Kbps (2 Mbps), much
faster than a 56 Kbps dial-up telephone connection.... Amplidyne's
high-speed connection will be available automatically 24-hours a day -- no
dialing or user intervention is necessary.... By using roof top antennas,
line of sight links up to 50 miles are possible..."

Curious about these claims, a Truthseeker researcher questioned Amplidyne CEO
Devendar Bains by telephone about the press release. Mr. Bains stated they
had only tested pre-beta equipment in their 11,400 sq. ft. Mr. Bains also
said pricing had not been established for the new equipment.

When asked if we could test the equipment, Mr. Bains indicated a beta system
in their lab was operational. When asked how soon we could get equipment to
test, Mr. Bains had no answer. Although he did offer to set up the
interviewer as a beta site. Mr. Bains could not give a date when the final
production version would be available.

The Truthseeker.com wondered, can AMPD claim their equipment provides
internet access at 2MPS over 50 miles, when it appears they have only
pre-beta test equipment? We have no idea how many users might be able to
connect to a system, or what the system might cost, and therefore no idea how
price effective any potential working system might be for consumers.

AMPD Announces Development of Dated Equipment

How, TheTruthseeker.com wondered what significance AMPD's equipment might
have in the marketplace if they were ever able to move the product out of
beta testing.

In this press release we found a similar product, announced over two years
ago in 1997 by one of the industry leaders - Proxim, (NASDAQ: PROX):

"MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., June 27, 1997 -- Proxim, Inc., a leading supplier of
wireless data communications products, today announced plans to deliver a
high-performance frequency hopping wireless local area networking (LAN)
product family based on the IEEE 802.11 standard. Proxim's 802.11-based
product family will utilize 2 Mbps frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS)
technology and will include access points (APs), adapter cards and OEM
modules that utilize the same form factors and interfaces as RangeLAN2
products. ...OEM samples will be available in Q3 1997, with general
availability later in the year."

Thus it would appear AMPD's announcement yesterday involves a product that
one of the wireless industry leaders had already developed more than two
years ago.

The most curious part of AMPD's press release is this section:

"By using rooftop antennas, line of sight links up to 50 miles are possible.
ISPs in metropolitan areas who have access to radio towers can offer multiple
subscription service using this technology."

Is this implying that the 2.4Ghz IEEE 802.11 technology can be used as a
point to point or point to multipoint microwave link between a building an
ISP? It appears to be. If so, it is a very misleading statement

The truth is more likely that AMPD wants ISPs to use a "point to point" or
"point to multipoint" microwave link between the customer's rooftop and an
ISP. These systems are referred to as fixed wireless. The fixed wireless
equipment business is dominated by companies such as DMIC, NT, SPCT, NTRO and
PCMS. All of these companies are significantly larger, and more successful in
the microwave radio marketplace than APMD.

Curious about what would appear to be misleading and fraudulent claims in
AMPD's press releases, we dug deeper. On Jan 25, 1999 we found the following
AMPD press release: amplidyneinc.com

"Amplidyne, Inc. Receives Purchase Order for PCS Single and Multi Channel
amplifiers totaling $5.4 million"

This press release claims "The shipment of these orders are to begin
immediately, and are expected to be complete by the 4th quarter of 1999." We
looked at AMPD's financial statements and note that for the 6 months ending
June 30, 1999, AMPD has only produced 1.1 million in sales revenue.

Additionally, a review of AMPD's financials showed:

-- Amplidyne sells its products at a LOSS, while industry competitor,
Powerwave, (NASDAQ: PWAV), had a 26.5% gross margin for the 2nd quarter of
1999.

-- Amplidyne has almost 6 months worth of inventory. This means the company
turns its inventory a paltry 2 times per year. Powerwave, by contrast, turns
its inventory 12x per year. here is the PWAV latest 10Q link dated 8/18/99

-- Even though Amplidyne customers are being charged less then it costs AMPD
to build their products, the customers don't seem to be paying. A/R is more
than the total sales for the quarter, indicating that AMPD is not collecting
from its customers.

-- The Bains regularly issued themselves stock in lieu of salaries, had they
paid themselves a salary, losses would have been worse.

How we wondered, could AMPD develop wireless equipment when they had not the
manufacturing facilities, the staff, or the financial resources to develop
and launch a product? AMPD lists total employees as 34-37.

AMPD Agrees To Sell for 7.2 million

On Dec 1, 1998 AMPD agreed to be acquired for $7.2 million dollars of
Microwave Power Devices, Inc.
(Nasdaq: MPDI) stock. As of yesterday Truthseekers who spoke to AMPD's
investment banker were told AMPD was still interested in a sale of the
company in the $10ish million range. This price would value AMPD at less
than 1.75/share.

AMPD Promoters Associated With Fraud

Harris Freedman and Sharon Will, who according to the AMPD's SEC filing dated
Nov 28, 1998 have both held the position of Vice President at AMPD since July
1996, have also been associated with three companies that on October 2, 1998,
were named in a New York State Attorney General stock-manipulation indictment.

Mr. Freedman and Ms. Will, either directly or indirectly, controlled
substantial amounts of Netsmart Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTST) and Big
City Bagels, Inc. (NASDAQ: BIGC), stock before their respective 1996 initial
public offerings. Both Netsmart and Big City Bagels were named in the New
York State Attorney General stock-manipulation indictment. This information
can be found in Asensioand Companys press release dated 5/21/99

Mr. Freedman was also a Vice President of MusicSource USA Inc. (OTC: MUSS),
which was delisted by NASDAQ in April 1995 and now trades for about 2 cents.
According to a September 1996 report in the Palm Beach Post, five
stockbrokers pleaded guilty to accepting bribes from a stock promoter in
exchange for persuading clients to buy stocks in several companies, including
MusicSource. In September 1998, according to a report in the Orange County
Register, the U.S. Attorneys Office charged ten additional brokers with
accepting bribes to sell stocks including MusicSource.

In addition, Mr. Freedman and Ms. Wills have both been accused by Securities
Fraud Investigator Manuel Asensio according to Asensio & Co.at <A
