I hope I can convince you to try out one of our DCS models. The 460 is probably the best "prosumer" solution available in the market. Do your homework, but, at least give Kodak a try. Thanks.

Jay, as a new owner of the Nikon 950, I have the following comments. It is very versatile, but learning the manual controls is somewhat difficult, and using them is even more difficult if you are using the camera in bright sunlight, which obscures the monitor display. My only real objection to the camera is the optical viewfinder, which provides an image too small to see in detail. I suppose this is the case with any camera with an optical viewfinder, as opposed to a single lens reflex. Before you make your final decision, you ought to see one, try out the optical viewfinder, and compare it with an SLR like the newest model Olympus, which apparently now includes a slot for CF.
