Our head analyst started with IBM as a programmer back in the 60's and now directs a multi million dollar network
and the 60 fulltime programmers needed to run it.

And the point hair will probably be looking for a job when it should only take 5 people. When is that Windows 2000 coming out? Beta three - 40 million lines. Linux kernal 1.5 million lines? You do the math.

I worked as a developer of UNIX systems for more than
10 years. It is a rationalization to say never about
anything. This analyst, by your statement, has no
experience with UNIX. (RHAT is a rebirth of the UNIX operating system with a new GUI graphical user interface)

The UNIX operating system is the most elegant operating
system in the world bar none.

Another progressive aspect of Red Hat is the Open Source
movement. Most people just don't understand what it is.

A complete understanding of open systems will give you a
better view of the marked changes to come. It just will
not go away!
