FineLine May Have Already Created the Next Pokemon

FAIRLAWN, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 8, 1999--FineLine Properties Inc. (OTC BB:FNLN)
has created 147 highly marketable and creative cartoon characters in 16 character groups.

Among these may be the next Pokemon.

The company's characters have already appeared on over 450 products in over 20 countries,
including Wendy's, Kellogg's, and Daiwa Securities of Japan. FineLine has contracts with Boein
Ltd. of Korea, Marvel Entertainment Group (NYSE:MVL), and the entertainment law firm of Fierst &
Pucci LLP which specializes in the marketing of cartoon characters. Frederick Fierst is renowned
in the industry for the marketing of "The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" and "The Pound Puppies."

A succesful character such as Pokemon can easily generate over $50 million annually in television
revenues alone. The Pokemon character started out as a simple game and its related merchandise
is now licensed or in negotiations to be licensed out to major companies including Topps Co.
