<< I got ESST this morning at higher than should have. >>

When I try to trade without being fully prepared, the market usually teaches me an expensive little lesson. I get in too high, or too late into the market rally, and suddenly I'm in the red.

I've learned that if I'm too busy, or haven't done my homework ahead of time, I'm better off remaining on the sidelines, even on days when the market makes its biggest jump of the year.

Please be careful here. Sounds like you may be trading unprepared, and I'd hate to hear that you stopped out for losses as a result.

John, one of Poormans model stocks SCSC is also in IBD today. No problem on newsletter evaluations from this end as I don't read any others so I don't have an opinion actually. Henry and I exchanged letters for several years (until he stopped) and I used to do the same with John Morrison (started this thread a few years ago) until he stopped his. Now all I read is "Poormans". <G>
