WMS

I'm looking at WMS and see a drop in price from $30.00 to $6.00 per share in April 1998. There's NO record of a stock split at this time and I was hoping that someone here could explain the circumstances around that event.

There wasn't any change in volume and it gives every appearance of being a split but apparently it wasn't.

Strangely, the graph on Yahoo adjusts the data as if it was a split; E-trade does not. I download my Metastock data from Telescan and there's no adjustment there. DWA's point and figure site does make a split-like adjustment.....grrrrr!

I hope you "guys" can peek into your databases and shed some light on this mystery.

Thanks very much

PS WMS was just recommended on Scientific Investing's Hotline. That's where I picked up on it.

Nelson,

As long as semis remain in momo mode, SMOD will move with the group. We all know the semi run can't last forever so keep those trendline stops handy.
