Nawww.... I live in Texas... you know all us church goin dudes are packin anyway ,so we don't much worry about the guy next to us..... it's the preacher you got to worry about, rainin down all that hellfire and brimstone ....:o)

Your "comparison" reminds me of a story.
As an experiment an engineer drank water and gin and proceeded to get drunk. Then he drank water and rum, proceeding to get drunk. Then he drank water and vodka, proceeding to get drunk. And finally he drank whiskey and water, also getting inebriated.
His conclusion: The common denominator was water. The water made him drunk.
The application: We can make "statistics" say about anything.
