From the Yahoo HTCH thread, some SEG talk:
<<but WHICH Seagate engineers
by: disc_us (39/M)
1740 of 1741
the easiest way to make a mistake interpreting or analyzing Seagate is to fall into the trap of assuming
they are in anything but the vaguest sense monolithic. Some management would like this to be, but the
question becomes, who leads? Longmont (desktop, low-end workstation wanna-be, ex-Connor failures
- harsh, but true..), OKC (ex-Imprimis, workstation, high-end workstation wanna-be, high-end desktop
wanna-be, currently driving the OKC/MSP bus), MSP (high-end workstation, A/V FC apps, high-end
workstation wanna-be); Singapore ('Science Park', creator of the U-4, low-end(cost) leader in SEG,
desparately fighting off all attempts to be consumed by Longmont)?

So which 'Seagate' isn't doing TSA - and which might? What a zoo; a competitive, creative, political
zoo. Don't assume much from speaking to some local engineers - unless they are particularily well
connected, politically astute, and well-versed in the intricacies of the multi-national, multi-site monster.>>

Hutch made a nice move above 30 today. Has been resistance recently. I think, though, that 32-33 may also prove to be stiff resistance, unless there is some sort of SEG announcement, which may lead to nice, quick leap above that level.
