Gary,
You post brings to mind something that has been puzzling me. That is that in my view, right now the average consumer equates I-net access with PC's and telephone lines. We here at SI live in a seperate techno world than the masses. I would think that RBOC's would move very quickly to market DSL and cement that relationship with their current users.
I don't think they have. I recieve much more advertizement about call waiting at $2.50/mo than DSL at $30-$40/mo. If I were an RBOC my main concern would be losing ALL revenue to a cable operator. ATT clearly is targeting telephony/cable.
