Heinz, i would agree with your Japan like scenario except for one factor, y2k...that is a fixed date, obviously...it seems that with less than 4 months to go, either the bulls are not at all concerned or figure they will cash out in time or figure effects will be minimal...

i'm wondering now if we on this thread (if we have dough left !!) will comfortably be able to poot this market at noon on dec 31/99, it really seems like no one gives a shag about y2k ?
