ATTENTION! Here is the recap from the Mail Call meeting I had with Ron Schnell. I hope I was able to address everyone's questions. Remember, this was with Mail Call and not Kensington.

I did go to Mail call on Tuesday and met with Ron Schnell. The meeting took place at about 1:00.

First to answer the questions that were asked by RB members.

1. They do not have a contract with LSG Skychefs.

2. They currently have no patents on the product. With an initial search, they could not find anything that was patentable. KNSC's lawyers have suggested that Mail Call continue to search for other possible patents that might be available. They will continue to pursue that avenue. The software code IS copyrighted, however. On the same topic, the biggest key here is the marketability of the Mail Call name, which is trademarked. They have the name and the websites. Especially with GTE, Net2Phone, Concentric, IDT, American Express, etc. using that name..... brand recognition will be a key. As far as the international aspect, other languages they are considering are French and German at this point, due to current customers' requests.

I absolutely love the operation. The office in between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. There is very little overhead to speak of. There are five current employees and I truly think, as automated as the operation is, that they could run the office with one. They plan on hiring a new Marketing Director when Kensington's 51% acquisition is complete. (It should provide more working capital to get more quality people.)

The office is fairly small and houses all the systems. The backbone of the system is a Sun Sparcstation database server with several more systems processing. They have (4) T1 lines coming in for the callers. They have backup systems in place, in case of an emergency. The system is very easily upgradable, when they implement some new marketing strategies.

In response to a few questions he answered:

Contracts: The do have contracts with companies other than what has been named. The focus was ISP's prior to Kensington's involvement. They have 15 smaller ISP's signed up. Here is one of them that I found on my own: annco.com . They have a strong push right now on corporate accounts, too. They are working on many potential clients at this time.

Subscribers: He could not comment on how many subscribers they have at this time. They have also done some other marketing. An example would be advertising with American Express cardholders. See the site set up for them on Mail Call services at mailcall.net .

Competition: Not much. eNow is out of business. MyInBox is pricier and less user-friendly and less system-friendly in accessing POP3's. And all of the others seem to require special software. We have a pretty unique product here.

Voice Navigation: I asked about voice menu-navigation for Mail Call, as I have seen a semi-competitor that has it. They said that they do plan on integrating it into the system and have been checking on some cutting-edge technology. The software for that will need to be purchased. My estimate would be very soon after the 51% is complete.

Also, FYI, Ron worked previously for IBM.

That's about all I can recall. I am even more excited about the opportunity that we have in front of us. Look to the future.... look at Mail Call. I bought another 3000 shares since the meeting.
