Would you please tell us which section of the rules you are basing your position that your team qualified to win the Field of Dreams Contest. Please provide your team results.
If you are able to point it out, I agree with you that TSIG should honor the contract... no ifs, ands, or buts.
If you are unable to point it out, I think you owe a minimum of an acknowledgement of your mistake to TSIG shareholders, TSIG Management, and most importantly to the kids for getting their hopes up based upon your failure to read the contract. Remember Sam, you are setting an example for these kids. In that case, I think you may want to consider providing some kind of reward for the kids yourself. I will gladly chip in $ 200 if you make that kind of effort. I want to see the kids happy as well.

Field of Dreams Contest
No substitution or transfer of prizes permitted except that Sponsors and prize supplier reserve(s) the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize is unavailable. Expenses not specifically stated are the sole responsibility of the Prize winner.
ELIGIBILITY
The contest is open to registered participants of the Babe Ruth League. Employees of the Sponsors, (My MusicCard Co.) or employees of Babe Ruth League Inc. their respective parents, their affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, franchisees, advertising and promotional agencies and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.
REQUIREMENTS
All moneys owed by the local league must be received by the Company by midnight August 31, 1999 in order to be counted toward their standing in the contest. In order to qualify for prizes, each participating League must sell a minimum of 2 cards per participant. Example: If a League has 6 teams and each team has 18 team participants, the League must sell a minimum of 216 (6 x 18) cards to qualify for the contest prizes.
The winners of the prizes for the Leagues will be based on highest ratios. Example:
League # of Participants #Cards Sold Ratio League A 200 2000 10 cards to 1 participant League B 2000 2000 1 cards to 1 participant
League A will be awarded the prize because they have the highest ratio of sales to participants. Leagues will determine who will be awarded individual prizes.
League standings will be posted on the website ( www.thebabecard.com) starting June 15, 1999
GENERAL CONDITIONS
Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsors, which are final on all matters pertaining to Contest. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All federal, state and local taxes, fees, and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winners. Prize winners will be notified within seven (7) days after determination date. Winners will be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release, and Publicity Release within seven (7) days following attempted notification. Winners will be required to return documents within seven (7) days.
Non-compliance within this time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Rules are subject to change without notice at any time by sponsor. Contest may be terminated at any time at discretion of sponsors.
Entrants further grant to Sponsors the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsors and their advertising and promotional agencies to use winners' names and likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation worldwide and in perpetuity in any and all forms of media
Entrants agree to release and hold harmless My MusicCard Co. their respective affiliates and subsidiaries, and each of their directors, officers, employees, agents, successors, and assigns, from any damage, injury, death, loss, or other liability that may arise from entrants' participation in the Contest or the awarding, acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize. All entrants agree that any dispute with respect to the Contest shall be resolved in either the federal or state courts located in the State of Florida. Restrictions, conditions, and limitations apply.
