It's a voting FOMC; therefore, while Alan's opinions might carry a lot of weight, there are others who are not nearly so contemporary in their thinking. I don't think the FOMC will take back that last 25 basis points of ease we got last fall because evidence still points to mostly stable prices and low inflation; however, Laurence Meyer, a voting Fed member is talking somewhat tough today.
