SEI had a very negative piece done on them by Barrons early in the summer. I already favor both VTS and PGO in the seismics with a recent strong interest in MIND as an opportunity bargain play. SEI looks good on paper but has some real sceptics regarding the way they amortize their data library assets. Very unfavorable comparisons were made in the Barrons piece between the practices of SEI on the one hand and VTS and PGO on the other. That is to the best of my recollection anyway. I haven't looked at it since. Book cooking allegations true or no take alot of time to dissipate or be corrected. by the way the buying opp on MIND at 4 1/4 appears to have quickly closed. ask at 3/4 and volume is building. for fat short interest stocks in the oil world check out TK. showing volume over the last two days, but there are at least 15 days to cover. ++good
