Sept 08, 1999 - (Dayinvestor.com - Sector In Play): WPNE - 5 13/16 x 5 15/16 - White Pine (WPNE) and Red Hat (RHAT) to Partner for Linux Videoconferencing Dayinvestor has confirmed that White Pine has partnered with Linux giant Red Hat Software to be the first IP video conferencing solution for the Linux OS. White Pine IR says they expect to begin shipments of their MeetingPoint video conferencing software for the Linux operating system as soon as October. WPNE IR says they usually precede the shipping of new software with an announcement about a month before the shipping date - If that pattern holds true expect an announcement on the Red Hat deal anytime.
