Could it be because companies aren't restocking? If I buy gas from a storage company, does it disappear from the AGA numbers immediately? Conversely, if I hold off buying the NG I need, does that artificially pump up the AGA numbers?

Utilities and traders have been falling over themselves trying to convince everyone there is no problem with supplies despite their whining that prices are too high. Could it be that they are not buying the stocks they need to buy, hoping their "everything's wonderful" argument brings down prices?

Just speculating. Can't help wondering why land based gas finding rigs are becoming so scarce if what these "experts" say is true.
