Just look at the following table from Yahoo Research.
AMKR is the lowest in almost every single category
compared to the Industry, the Sector, and even the SP500
average.

This, of course, excludes all the other growth factors
such as:

Chip industry recovery
Asia economy recovery
Outsourcing trend
Capacity tighting
Number one position and growing market share
Strong technology leadership and strategic alliances
Y2K
