Thread: Just took a look at IBM! WOW! Was I WRONG??????? IBM should have bounced off 130 in order to successfully complete a cup and handle formation. I hear the "news" that caused Friday's precipitous drop was the work of Steve Milunovich (ML?). It seems that he is "concerned" that the Street's "expectations" for this qtr's rev growth in the hardware sector, which is 6%, may be too high and that the "perception" of IBM's rev growth may not be good. He cut his expectations on hardware rev to 4% growth - didn't cut his EARNINGS estimate and didn't change his BUY rating. Hmmmmmm, a buying op???? I remember the last time (Q1 I believe) that the doubters started taking pot shots at IBM just ahead of earnings.
