Mshater - thanks for your message. I don't buy this argument as lending strong support to the benefits of Open Source development. This is akin to the "more is better" argument. I know some C and VB developers that can write code better than a 1000 moderately skilled developers ever could. True, 1000 moderately skilled developers might be able to write better code than 1 moderately skilled developer - provided that their development efforts are not hampered by the complications of their working together.

As for RHAT's price today - it closed up 8.75. The extreme volatility of this stock is strong evidence to support the notion that RHAT is being used purely as a speculative instrument. You might as well be playing craps (your odds might actually be better).
