>>Absolutely, totally, categorically untrue. That would be a devious and dishonest thing to do, and we are neither devious nor dishonest.<<

Bryan,

Thanks for the response. I really wasn't imagining any "devices" on your part. I just figured, SI has a fixed amount of bandwidth that they must allocate between the old and the new systems. And maybe you were swinging the stick more towards the new system at a certain point of readiness. Bottom line: the old SI was VERY slow for me yesterday and today. Maybe it didn't have to do with SI -- could have been the backbone I'm on or whatever. But I did have the same experience using my backup (dialup).

But don't take this as a complaint -- I'm a very happy SIer!

SI RULES!

Regards,
wily

>>With that said, let me add that now that the new SI is up to speed, the new site is a little more efficient than the old site. In either case, however, our response times are sub-100 milisecond, which is our targeted range.
Bryan<<

You are not running under 100 milliseconds.I just ran another of my daily tests and you have packet loss of 9% and are averaging 137 milliseconds per the 14 hops.If you can't spell the word milliseconds properly what does that say about your credibility?
