This is likely a chipset issue.

I believe they compared a regular dell Bx vs Camino and RDRAM.

I am sure if they had used Camino for both the RDRM would have been faster than SDRAM thru MTH.

It seems totally counter-intuitive that Rambus could cause such large slow downs. Maybe it was an old Camino or maybe they misprogrammed the rdrams or otherwise screwed it up. But it is really hard to understand why the Dell Bell would publically disclose these while tout Rambus at the same time.

Can't anyone find out from someone who attended if Bell really presented this? It would be good to have second source on Bert.
