Couldn't resist. Anyone who wants to really understand NTN's current situation could do worse than read Darren's posts at Yahoo.

That would be d_gasser

It was reported here that a former tech guy at NTN said that these "software" type problems with the new system would be more difficult to fix than hardware problems.

I think he used stronger terms.

The decimating of the tech staff was only part of his reasoning.

It is happening exactly as he predicted.

Even at a very visible location that has been babysat since installation, the problems continue.

Bennigans?? They've been a customer of NTN's for 6 or 7 years. As someone else stated, where is the announcement that a large customer like Damons is changing over??

Pizzaria Uno had a similar sounding deal to Bennies. We know how that's worked out.

A source familiar with NTN sales says they probably gave them discounted 100 site pricing, and the trick now will be getting them to really do it. Even in the "bad old days" at NTN that type of deal would never have been allowed.

A scent of desperation is in the air.

Maybe ad revenue will save them.

Oh wait, none of them yet, either. They need two big ones just to get back to when they were doing terribly.

Why don't they just give one away so that they can do a PR?

Did "player" really say that site numbers are up??

NTN's own internal numbers show a decline of way over 100 sites this year. And that doesn't include the ones who've stopped paying and are merely helping build accounts receivable.

If love is blind, I guess NTN bullishness can be deaf and dumb.

Dwight (especially..........)

Other than this it all looks great!!!!!!!1
