Mike,

Have you checked it out for an arbitrage play? Maybe sell puts on the QQQ and buy puts on the issues?

Richard

Hi Michael...hey its 09/09/99 today <ggg>

it sounds like the 'scenario' on mu as presented in the mu and kahuna threads has not impacted your decision with mu poots ?

er, i bought a bit of the jan 50 poots on mu, paid 1.875 ---gosh i am up on THIS purchase , probably jinxed it by pooting it in 'print'...

here's a scenario for you...i bought 5 oct 55 ko poots and quickly had nearly a double...so, i sold them and used my original investment in them, plus a few odd bucks to buy 10 ko 40 january poots at 7/16...lets assume my bearishness on ko is correct...do you think it was prudent to switch or did i really just churn myself ?

re asa...i'm holding anyway but au has performed better lately...is there sometimes a lag in asa following its internal holdings on the way up due to minimal volumes and demand for asa itself ? also, do you know the symbols for their diamond holdings i.e. debeers, etc...

thanks and happy High Holidays !!!
