Mike, Any suggestions for someone that wants to put away some stash in a mattress? I'd put cash, but I hate not having the money work for me. There seems to be a pretty liquid market for gold (there's always a pawn shop (g) (especially in Houston... ever see so many anywhere as on Westheimer?)). If you suggest a vehicle, would you be so kind as to guide me on where to acquire it. I once had a Kugerand (sp?) as a kid. I don't remember, but I think I bought and sold it to a coin store and likely lost %30. Thanks Richard
