Kevin,

I couldn't find anyone who had posted on the UP, AOW or ADA
thread on Aug. 21 who hadn't posted before. Which posts might have questionable motives? or is that a cryptic reference intended only for the cognoscenti?

Today's half-million block trade shows that some people with plenty of resources available have very strong opposite views of the prospects for UP---someone with 500,000 shares available was willing to part with them for only C$1.55, apparently believing that UP's prospects aren't all that great, while someone else is confident enough that UP's share price will go up to shell out that much dough for a big stake in UP right now when the legal matters are very much up in the air.

No wonder, then, that little shareholders who have to be content with little bits and pieces of information about the co. have widely divergent views of UP's prospects.

Kevin, well my motives are simple. I'm a shareholder in AOW and ADA. Both of these companies, in my opinion, have been
treated badly by UP. It has cost me money. There is legal
action against UP and AOW by Pannonian. If it is is not settled, and I certainly hope it will be in the next couple
of days, it may well dramatically effect UP shareholders--in
my opinion. The amount that might be named in the suit
is not trivial.
I am suggesting that with the high volume today and the
upward movement in shareprice, that it may not be a wise
investment decision to jump on the train with the idea that
the conference will bring all kinds of upward movement to
the stock. This is just my opinion, time will tell if I'm
over reacting and misunderstand the terms and nature of the
alledged improprieties that Mr. Jarvis, AOW and UP are
being accused of in sworn Affidavits and evidence submitted
before the court.
Best regards,
Lew
