<Puhleeeeaaase people - get a grip! Is Juniper going to put CSCO out of biz? Is Red Hat going to put MSFT out of biz? If you constantly need something to worry about, go on Greenspan watch. JDSU? - no worries.>

Bulldozer, I'm sorry but your response is not consistent with the tone of the discussion. First of all I'm not worried and haven't sensed that anyone else is worried from the few responses. Nobody inferred that LUMM is going to put JDSU out of business either. I'm neither long or short JDSU at the present however I've been in and out on the long side several times this year. I don't know that much about LUMM to say if they're a small, medium or major threat although I do find their technology intriguing and relevant to what JDSU does. I just don't know to what extent it's relevant. I was just looking for some feedback. I aknowledge that LUMM is a startup with no sales at the present but they're managed by some very smart people, with a potentially dominant technology - a startup not unlike UNPH several years ago. Wasn't UNPH a "point product 'new technology', no-revenue company" at one time?

Regards, Bob.
