Gerald, Codwag,djia:

What is the argument for ignoring important testimonials
and market opinions like this. Does this irritate you guys
when it is against a bullish popular opinion?
federalreserve.gov

I must let you know that I am very bullish on MSFT
for those who have 2-3 year time horizon.

johnd, to post a bearish agrument once is fine. but to spam us with the same bunch of reasons you have over and over and over, that it what i consider irritating.

1. msft will go to low 70s high 80s
2. y2k
3. jackson ruling will cause msft to fall 10-15%
4. maffei said growth will be slow

sorry if i didn't quote you verbatim but i think i've seen that post from you more than a few times.

I have been trying to balance the feelings so that we get good discussion and get opinions and counter opinions.

Yes, but asking why a stock is falling "so fast" when it dropped 2.12% is a little ridiculous. Now, trying to debate whether the chart pattern is a triple top, a head and shoulders, an ascending triangle, or a cup and handle might be a little more reasonable.

I don't think that it's a H&S because the neckline is ramping too quickly, and I don't think it's a C&H because the handle part pulled back too far beneath the 50 DMA. I think it's an ascending triangle and that MSFT pulls back to either the 50 DMA at about 90 or the ascending support at about 85. It's obvious that the most recent breakout attempt has failed so some consolidation is in order.
