Eli. Agreed, that is the most logical argument. If they had it, then why haven't they put it in their products?

<<<The fact that they (Sony, Matsushita) haven't leads me to conclude that they don't have the technology. And if they don't have the technology, then they don't have a superior competitive position vis a vis Valence....>>>

Funny mgv/goo-ber doesn't get it....Draw your own conclusions.....

There have been a number of products that signal they will use lith poly. Many of the products have been identified here. I recall Ericsson cell phones, Motorola products, and Samsung products. All of the products suggest they are past design stage and therefore have sourced lith poly for the designs. Based on VLNC's 10Ks and Qs, we know that VLNC has supplied no material for any product aside, possibly, from an Alliant arms prototype. Its likely that these products are incorporating lith poly technology from unnamed sources. Its likely these unnamed sources are the deeper pockets in the sector.

There is an internal inconsistency in your argument. On the one hand, you state that because there is no lith poly product in the market, no one must have lith poly technology. On the other hand, you believe VLNC has lith poly technology but hasnt yet sold it into the market.

If no lith poly in the market were proof that there is no lith poly technology, then you would have to concede that VLNC also has no lith poly technology. On the other hand, if the absence of lith poly product in the marketplace today does not exclude the existence of lith poly technology, then we have to look for other reasons why it hasnt been released into the market yet. On this platform, it is more reasonable that deeper pockets have more plentiful and likely reasons to have the technology without wanting or needing to release it to market today. VLNC desperately needs to sell it into the marketplace. Deeper pockets do not desperately need to sell it today. It doesn't mean they are less ready than VLNC. It likely means they are more ready.
