Hands, when we see a few days in a row. . in the tens of millions of volume, we'll know we are there, with regard to brokerage basket, IMO. . . .even then, except for the possibility of China devaluation, [and even then, I want fresh proof], I am planning to hold most of my high-tech long this time. . .if there is no China devaluation, I am going to bet that there will not be much of an October crash. . . .and even then. . .if you look at last year's chart. . .it was over in a few days. . .with the right stocks. . .it could be ridden out, IMO. . .just look how broadbands did throughout the summer.

IF there is building evidence that the devaluation was near, then I would go defensive. . .but without it, I just don't see September selling off . . . except for the broader small and micro caps, which have been getting beaten down almost daily. Still no sign of broader market strength. . .

I do think that the markets are hungry for some good news. . .not economic news. . .but a good front page report on internet growth. . . in a leading periodical. That is what this market needs to stimulate it here, in my opinion of course.
