They should, huh? The woman I talked to did. She said, "you're doing the important stuff". But then she's not the boss. The boss is in some other state seeing her really old parents. Guess she knows the important stuff too. I'm still tripping. And I think after meeting my friend for lunch that I stopped and bought a beer and some lunch and ate a little and walked out on the bill. Not on purpose. I just needed to go and they didn't come around. Ya know? I left a tip. Does that count? What a totally strange day. I'm not ready for this. I used to live in a sureal world all the time but maybe I'm out of practice. And people get impatient. They want results. They want an SUV. What do I know of such things, dumb ol' mad poet that I am? My sister loves me. She trusts me. Still. Poor fool. And I'm thinking as she's talking... duh, if you'd just told me this years ago I wouldn't need to take a whole friggin' day off in '99 to listen to it. Silly girl. And they say she's the sane one. Haha.
