OT - Please Mr. P#nk forgive this intrusion into your thread - but I just gotta say this.
But so I'm clear let me point out that WJC hasn't killed anyone to my knowledge, let alone covered it up to save his own skin.
First, you have to consider how many people has Clinton killed, and for what reason. You hear "for the children" a lot, but you don't hear that some 500,000 Iraqi children have died because the sanctions against Iraq also include medical baby-formula like things. Is it a cover-up? Well, you don't hear about it do often, do you? Do you think he would want you to hear about how many hundreds of children died today from malnutrition?
As a "response" to terrorist bombings of our embassies in Africa, both Sudan and Afganistan suffered cruise missile attacks, killing many people. The stated reason was, "chemical weapons factory" for Sudan, and "terrorist training camp" in Afganistan. Now, it seems like the Sudanese plant was a medical packaging plant - an aspirin factory, with some 50-90% of the medical capacity of that COUNTRY. Do you think this was an honest mistake, or maybe did somebody somewhere actually know that it was a medical plant?
How about the bombing of the Chinese embassy? Do you buy that the CIA had old maps? Did you know that in old maps, this location is an empty field and not the armory, the "official" target? Did you know this was the only, single target that the CIA ever "nominated" during the war? Again, people died, and I don't think the real reason it was bombed has been revealed.
The "reason" we bombed Yugoslavia was "to stop ethnic cleansing" by Milosevic, yet all agree the situation got worse once the air campaign started. Besides the military targets, you know that hundreds or thousands of civilians were killed, and many tens or hundreds of housands were left homeless or injured. You know about the refugee convoys, the news stations, the hospitals, and the schools that were bombed. Cover up? We all proudly trumpeted that Milosevic was indicted for war crimes - but have you heard that the NATO campaign is in violation of the UN charter, NATO agreements, and US law? That Clinton violated the War Powers Act? And that a federal judge that Clinton appointed threw out a suit by some congressman charging specifically this? Did you hear that by bombing civilian services such as press, water, power, schools, and hospitals, that we (Clinton/NATO) have violated the Geneva Convention? You don't hear about it, because it is a coverup. And people died.
Noam Chomsky has written at length about the complicity in the Mass Media in going along with the government's party line. See "Manufacturing Consent" or read his "Keeping the Rabble in Line" - he has written many books. He does not claim Clinton is any worse than prior administrations, by the way.
Moving to domestic events, you must know about the incineration of the Branch Davidians at Waco, Texas some six years ago. The internet has been full, for years, of "conspiracy theorists" who claim that the fire was set by the Federal Government, and not by the Branch Davidians. After all, the FBI claimed for *years* that they did not fire any pyrotechnic devices at all at the "compound" (previously known as "church"), therefore it Couldn't Have Been Us.
Well, now the FBI has admitted to it. The remains of "flash-bang" grenades, and parachute flares have also been found where the fires first broke out. And that the military (the Delta Force, specifically) was there after all - in violation of the Posse Comitatus Act. If that isn't a coverup, I don't know what is. 80 people died, including 24 children. Now, though, Janet Reno has hand-picked an investigator to get to the "bottom" of it. Would you trust the outcome of an "investigation" of a fruadulent company, if the CEO got to hand-pick the investigator?

They make a very strong case that it was a military operation to murder all the people, and sell it to the public as a "suicide cult" bent on self-destruction. Finally, the cracks in this particular coverup are starting to leak.

Then, there are the infamous "body count" lists - people who have been close to Clinton who have died under mysterious circumstances, many as "suicides" - like decapitation and multiple slash wounds to the neck. The most famous is perhaps Vince Foster. See *for yourself* if the "evidence" of suicide is convincing. Do your "due diligence" in the political arena just as surely as you do it in stock trading! Mr. P-nk is known for actually calling the companies, and looking into their past - not on only the press releases that FP and MRVC have put out.

I ask you to recreate your state of mind as you went from a long-type "investor" or "trader" to one who also shorts. You might have once taken the attitude that "shorts just manipulate the market, and scare out weak hands" - did you ever think that? If so, what changed it? I ask you to take the same skepticism towards the current administration, and consider the possibility that the press is little more than empty, propaganda "press releases" that are slanted pro-government, just like company press releases. Please at least look at the links, and watch Waco: Rules of Engagement. Then see if you still think there have been no deaths, and no cover-ups, by Clinton.
Perhaps noone died directly at the hands of Clinton, as someone did at the wheel of Kennedy, but Clinton's hands are far from clean.
Due diligence - it applies to politics as well as trading - and the stakes are higher: it isn't just money anymore.
