Hadn't thought of it from the embedded old techonology/cannibalization issue. However, if history is any guide, companies with that particular mindset will get crushed eventually. After all, IBM urinated away $16 billion in accumulated losses when they were restructuring several years ago. I don't think Sony's quite that dumb. And I stand by my original statement. That in my opinion, the absence of product of that type from the marketplace is indicative of the fact that no one's got it yet. And if that's the case, then VLNC is still a viable story. So I guess we'll just have to wait and see. As one noted investing sage has said, "Now, about those P.Os.........". <G>
