G'day Steve & all - thanks for a succinct briefing on Timor. I was tied up yesterday, but I saw an headline saying China has an "open mind" on peacekeeping in Timor, which seems to negate the already negated <G> idea the US's motive to use that as a base for Chinese observation.

IMHI[gorant]O, I don't think a coup is needed in Indonesia, as the power is still in the hand of the military. And indeed, is Habbibie a puppet or a puppeteer? That is the question!

Fingers crossed and hope there won't be too much more sufferings.
