Connor - one of my favourite pasttimes is poking around in the evening and wearing my PI cap...although I've never owned it, I've been looking at Office Depot tonight... biz.yahoo.com ...was wondering why it was practically at its nadir equities2.barchart.com - interesting to note that "strong buys" last year (3 of them) came in Sept/Oct. as you can see by link...when I look at block trades, I see Saloman Smith Barney crossed 4,108,000 shares @ 10 1/2 on a few days ago (Sept. 3 to be precise)...http://www.newsalert.com/bin/newsanal?Type=btrades&day=19990903.dat ..now without further ado, I'll bethcha dollars to donuts SSB will come out with a "strong buy" (being a cyclical business?) on ODP and see we'll all pile in @ 12... ..just a thought, but you and others might want to watch this one overthe next few weeks if not sooner...it certainly has been beaten up, but them's a lot of shares! ..good trading!
